Elegant lines, unequivocal speed and absolute freedom: meet the new Itama 70.
A model that offers an exclusive space, promising a comprehensive, sophisticated and dynamic experience.
Forlì, March 2, 2026 – With Itama 70, freedom at sea takes on a new meaning, defining the open yacht as a truly liveable space. The second of the five models in the Itama range renewal is designed for people who know that true privilege lies in the quality of time spent on the water. Right from the outset, the aim of this new project has been to optimise life on board, introducing layouts and features designed to make full use of the available space.
The Itama 70 project, presented this year at boot Düsseldorf, is the result of collaboration between the Ferretti Group Product Strategy Committee led by Piero Ferrari and the Group’s Engineering Department. The exterior styling is by Vallicelli Design and the interiors are by IdeaeItalia.
The external lines are a contemporary take on the brand’s standout features, preserving its heritage. In keeping with the innovations introduced for the first time on Itama 54, Itama 70 also has a large sunpad in the bow, perfectly integrated into the deck, and side windows that run the length of the hull, giving the profile an elegant and contemporary look.
The layout of the decks has been designed to ensure the ultimate in on-board comfort and outstanding liveability. At the stern of the main deck, the large sunpad – an iconic Itama hallmark – is joined on the starboard side by a practical passageway used to board the boat. The U-shaped dining area features a teak-topped table positioned in front of the wet bar unit, complete with sink and fridge. On request, this unit can be transformed into a chaise longue by adding a cushion, providing even more seating space in the living area.
The helm station, located on the port side, features comfortable seating for two people and excellent visibility.
Access to the bow area is positioned centrally in relation to the windscreen, with smoother and more functional people flows onboard ensured by keeping the entrance to the lower deck on the far starboard side.
The lower deck accommodates three cabins, all with en suite bathrooms, a corner galley and a dinette. The master cabin is located in the stern, an important feature for a 70-foot open yacht, while the VIP cabin is positioned in the bow. On the port side, the third guest cabin has a queen-size bed arranged perpendicularly to the keel, with an en suite bathroom that can also be used as a day head. The entire lower deck benefits from excellent natural lighting thanks to the hull glazing, as well as from better people flows by completely eliminating steps on this level.
Finally, on request, a single crew cabin with a separate bathroom can be fitted, accessed from the aft sunpad.
Itama 70 is fitted with two MAN V12 engines: the standard configuration is a pair of 1,400 HP MAN V12 units, which translates into a top speed of 37 knots and a cruising speed of 33 knots, while in the optional version the yacht is fitted with two 1,550 HP MAN V12 engines, for a maximum speed of 39 knots and a cruising speed of 35 knots (preliminary data).
